About Lepam

Lepam is the application of a medicated herbal paste. Herbs are ground fresh and mixed to a paste with a suitable liquid, then spread over the area being treated at a set thickness and left in place while it acts.

What a session involves

The paste is prepared for you rather than taken from stock. It is applied evenly and left for a period your practitioner sets, commonly 30 to 45 minutes, then removed with warm water. The area may be lightly oiled afterwards.
