1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the ArogyaBodh website and mobile app (the "Platform"), operated by ArogyaBodh Ayurveda Services (OPC) Private Limited ("ArogyaBodh", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. What ArogyaBodh provides
ArogyaBodh lets you consult qualified Ayurvedic doctors, book therapies at home or at a clinic, book lab tests, order Ayurvedic medicines, and follow yoga, meditation and nutrition programmes.
The Platform is not for emergencies. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, heavy bleeding, fainting or any other emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital straight away.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- The information you give us, including your health details, must be true and complete.
- You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done from your account.
- Tell us straight away if you think your account has been used without your permission.
4. Consultations and therapies
- Consultations are given by registered practitioners using their own professional judgement. They are responsible for the advice and treatment they give.
- Share your full medical history, current medicines and allergies with your practitioner.
- For home visits, please give an accurate address, be available at the booked time, and provide a safe and suitable space for the therapy.
- Results differ from person to person. We do not promise any particular outcome or cure.
5. Bookings, cancellations and refunds
A booking is confirmed once the practitioner accepts it and, where payment is needed, payment is received. The price, and the cancellation and refund terms that apply, are shown before you confirm.
If we or a practitioner must cancel, we will offer you another time or a refund. Refunds go back to your original payment method or ArogyaBodh wallet, and bank processing times may apply.
6. Medicines and lab tests
- Take medicines only as advised by a qualified practitioner. Some products need a valid prescription.
- Check the product label for ingredients, dosage and warnings before use.
- Lab tests are carried out by partner laboratories. Follow the preparation instructions given for your test.
- Lab reports should be reviewed with a qualified practitioner, not read as a diagnosis on their own.
7. Memberships and payments
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless shown otherwise.
- Paid memberships renew automatically for the same period unless you turn off renewal before the renewal date.
- Turning off renewal stops future charges. Your membership stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
- Membership benefits are personal to the account holder, except where a plan says it covers family members.
8. Wellness content and AI features
Yoga sessions, programmes, diet plans, recipes, articles and food information are general wellness guidance, not medical advice. Practise within your comfort, and speak to a doctor first if you are pregnant, have a health condition or are recovering from an injury.
The website assistant and the Arogya AI nutrition coach use artificial intelligence and can make mistakes. Their answers are general information, not a diagnosis or a prescription. Always consult a qualified practitioner before making decisions about your health.
9. Using the Platform fairly
You agree not to:
- Give false information, impersonate anyone, or book services on someone else's behalf without their permission.
- Misuse, disrupt, copy or try to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other users' data.
- Behave abusively towards practitioners, therapists or our staff.
10. Our content
The ArogyaBodh name and logo, and the content on the Platform, including text, images, programmes and recipes, belong to ArogyaBodh or its licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use only.
11. Limits of our liability
We work hard to keep the Platform accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, ArogyaBodh is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the independent professional judgement of practitioners. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
12. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using the Platform and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. Records we must keep by law are kept after an account is closed.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute with you directly. Otherwise, the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date. If you keep using the Platform after a change, you accept the updated terms.
